BUDDHA SENTENZA - Cosmic Harmonies!

After a seemingly random sonic collision over the city of Heidelberg in late 2008, the constellation of *Buddha Sentenza* began to form during the darkest hours of that cold and silent winter. Deep under the earth, in the hidden bowels of the Klonlabor tunnel complex, the searing strings and pounding drums condensed rapidly to form a nebulous cloud of loosely jammed, spaced-out, rocking riffs. Rotating freely around some of the most ancient soundscapes – from the astral end of the Pink Floyd to the depths of distant galaxies such as Black Sabbath – Buddha Sentenza has continued to expand while drawing energy from contemporary constellations. (as compiled on the bands website)

Buddha Sentenza are:
General Punishment – Guitar
Baa Baa Blacksheep – Guitar / Violin
Munro Merthahens – Bass
Jesus Malverde – Drums / Percussion
Pontifex Maximus – Organ / Synthesizer

COFFEE TRIBE - Wake up to the Almighty Sacred Buzzing Bean and HEAR the Coffee!

From the land of Kona coffee, volcanoes, surfboards, and ukuleles comes The Coffee Tribe! Led by the ever elusive MONDO-chameleonic-yet-occasionally-charismatic Chief RennTiki MochaMon, The Coffee Tribe is music's answer to caffeine!

Times Passes and Things Change…….or DO they?!

Recently resurrected from its own ashes this is no mere "side project." The Coffee Tribe is actually the ORIGIN of the wildy popular and well-known The Topangas (formerly The Aloha Mountain Groove Band!) & serves as an alter-ego outlet for songwriter Renn Loa's somewhat more caffeinated songs.

They sound like everyone else and yet NO one else! They play like they have instruments... and they have MUCH more fun with bass, drums, guitars and occasional keyboards than 4 or 5 humans really ought to.

Tiki Tribalistas and cave dwellers unite in the fuzz-toned noise added bliss that is The Coffee Tribe! We now raise our generously-portioned cups of damn fine coffee in your general direction and ask you to join us in our quest for good times, stiff drinks, ebullient music and just the right places to enjoy them in (as compiled on the bands website).

FAT TREE - Powerhouse of Talent and Fun!

What happens when you take the musical freedom of Dave Matthews Band, the positive rock energy from 311, the intelligent quirks of Ben Folds, the melodic funk of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the jazz-pop finesse and technicality of Herbie Hancock, the simple power of Jason Mraz, the rock riffs of Lynard Skynard and a splash of Bob Marley?   You would probably get something that sounds like Fat Tree. With that foundation of myriad influences, they have built a truly unique and engaging sound of their own.
Fat Tree is comprised of brothers Eric, Kyle, and Samuel Jacobs, and their long time friend Sam Bischof. They built a history together in the years they grew up in Alamogordo, NM, and that history shines through in their music, having roots in the past and branches into the future.  Fat Tree. A band that can rock with the hardest, chill with the coolest, impress your music instructor, and not take themselves too seriously!

Their mission: "Flood the world with good music that most anybody can appreciate and enjoy. Give people an outlet to escape the pressures and troubles of the world. Put out the best music we can possibly dream up!".   So, come join in the musical celebration! Tap your feet, bob your head, do the happy dance, jump around, or just sit there! It doesn't matter, as long as you have fun and forget your worries! We invite one and all to participate in the musical journey that is Fat Tree (as compiled on the bands website).

RABBLE RABBLE - Fancy Footwork, Good Recordings, Getting Down!

Back in the big heatwave of 21st century, there was some heat lightnin' crashin' up on some tall building in the Famous Chicago loop. 4 blinding bolts of cosmic lightening descended onto the Earths' metallic crust, melting the faces off every human being in a 20 mile radius. As the smoke and dust and rain of blood settled, there stood four strange looking people in the midst of the chaos; two held guitars, one held a bass, and one held sticks.
There was a rumble of thunder in the distance, and the earth began to shake. Flames began shooting from cracks in the ground and the Devils' finger tips could be seen tearing away at the crust as he climbed out and leaped in front of these strangers, asking them,

"Who are you, and why are you here!?" he hissed.

The strangers looked at one another and said,

"Well, we're Rabble Rabble. We're here to ROCK AND ROLL!!!"

And no one knows exactly what happened after that. The story is still being pieced together. So, stay tuned……(as compiled on the bands website)

PARIS KEELING - Powerful Symphonic Rock

What people are saying about End of Ride: "It's sad that mainstream rock has to sound like mainstream rock. There used to be a time when innovation, melody, lyrical brilliance and above all - musicianship - actually meant something. If you want to drift back to those days, check out the new CD from Paris Keeling, End of Ride; it's all of the above, and then some... And just to clear things up, Kelly Keeling is one of the Top 10 voices in rock and metal today. There, cleared."

Kelly Keeling, co-founder of Paris Keeling and the band's lead vocalist, commenced his career in music over 25 years ago at the age of 14. In 1990, he joined the rock band Baton Rouge as a vocalist and guitar player, and shortly thereafter the band was signed by Ahmet Ertegan of Atlantic Records. Their album Shake Your Soul was released followed by Lights Out on the Playground a year later. That same year, Kelly was involved with his first platinum album, Alice Cooper’s Hey Stoopid, co-writing the song "Snakebite".

Marty Paris, co-founder of Paris Keeling and featured guitarist, is best known for creating the Skulls Project - a collaboration of independent musicians in Hoboken, New Jersey. Their last project First Rites, was released in 2005 and several of the tracks on Paris Keeling's End of Ride including "Color Blind" and "Tears of Heaven" have their roots in that project. He also was a member of the band Pamlico Sounds dating back to the 80’s (as compiled from the bands website).

Other members: Rick Van Benschoten , Matt Goeke, and Gintas Janusonis.

ZZG - cool rock vibe! Yes, we play them on Pluto Radio!

ZZG"...the originality of the music, and ZZG's attempt to reflect and re-imagine early rock, is what really shines here. Far from the mainstream, and certainly no where near current modern rock trends, ZZG's Trapped in the Mirror is an interesting, innovative and entertaining platter of retro progressive rock. Recommended. 4.0/5.0 Review: Craig Hartranft, 07.26.2010 ZZG were formed in 2007 when Guitarist Daniel Roberts and Bassist Keith Matthews formed a band that reflected the heyday of late 60's and early 70's hard rock. "We wanted to write guitar and bass hooks that people would still have stuck in their heads hours and hours after hearing the music. The riffs of Deep Purple were our benchmark". After a few false starts and lots of writing drummer Craig Birnie joined the band. Dan took on the role of singer/guitarist but an element was still missing. Finally Stu Mitchell joined the band bringing modern tones. Stu balanced the old world rock feel with his own unique guitar sound. The ZZG band sound was complete. After refining the first collection of songs the band went offline to record with "Trapped in The Mirror" completed early 2010. In May 2010, ZZG joined UK publicist Nicky Baldrian from Two Side Moon Promotions to promote "Trapped in the Mirror" in the UK and Western Europe. The band is now playing live regularly and is writing again. The first new songs Red Dawn" and "California rolling" are complete with more being arranged right now. A second album is planned for early 2011.

CYNICISM MANAGEMENT - Debut Album Out Soon!

From the Bands Blog:
Yippee...! May 16, 2011 at 12:00 AM
Yippee, the album is off to the printing press! Or, rather, was off to the printing press last Wednesday, but I forgot to post the good news here. So, I'm doing that now. Plus, I'm also attaching the cover:

CYN is a brainchild of seasoned musicians who keep getting even more seasoned with every passing year, but who have, to date, nevertheless failed to write any worldwide hit singles. Hence their latest endeavour – Cynicism Management, the newest attempt at global domination.

The scheme started out in late 2008 as an experiment – the whole affair was to be an "ongoing online literary musical". At its core, the idea was quite simple: to gradually write a fictional "blog" that would, hopefully, eventually develop into a kind of a novel. As the novel was to focus on the epic tales of a band called Cynicism Management, the blog would also contain original tracks written and recorded by this fictional band. Should the idea gain more momentum, any additional materials produced in the context of this project would be included in the "blog / novel", ideally resulting in a comprehensive work of, perhaps, interesting dimensions and format (all as compiled from the bands website).

ROB TOGNONI - Classic Rock

Originally from Turner's Beach (Ulverstone) in Tasmania, and now lives in Queensland, Australia. RT plays guitar, writes, sings, records & does a lot of touring through Europe & UK.
Rob's latest 26 track double live CD titled "Rock And Roll Live" was released through Music Avenue in Oct. 2010.  Recorded at the Spirit of '66, Verviers, Belgium in March this year, it captures the fast and furious energy to the subtlety that Rob's gigs are well known for.

"You have to admire Rob Tognoni's stamina. He is able to sustain a ferocious pace, few could manage it... Perhaps his stamina is the consequence of 30 years conditioning.   Perhaps it's natural selection..." Blues In Britian Magazine UK

"Australian Rob Tognoni is one of the finest guitar players around today. His work is a combination of classic rock, blues & blues rock and is done with utmost passion and precision..." Bandit Blues Radio USA

"A stunning guitarist with killer licks, and a fine blues rock feel..." Jazz FM, London UK  (all as compiled from Rob Tognoni’s website)

THE EARTHLING SOCIETY - Progressive / Psychedelic

The Earthling Society formed in early 2004 when singer songwriter / guitarist Fred Laird and David Fyall met up with drummer Jon Blacow. Disillusioned with the current music trends and sharing a love of 1970s progressive rock, krautrock and 1960s psychedelia, Earthling Society built a primitive 8-track recording studio in a corner of a disused glass factory. Ignoring any commercial intention, they started recording what became their debut album Albion purely as they had the ability to do so.  By August 2005 it became album of the month on former Teardrop Explodes frontman Julian Cope's website Head Heritage.

What sets this band apart from the others is their unique and original take on the spacerock genre which has lead to their most successful reviews to date (as compiled from the bands website).

The Earthling Society is:
Fred Laird - Guitar and Vocals
Jon Blacow - Drums and Percussion
Joe Orban - Keyboards
Luis Gutarra - Bass

ZAK DANIELS AND THE ONE-EYED SNAKES - In Your Face /Kick-A** Rock & Roll!

Besides the passion and love we have for intelligent lyrics combined with high energy kick ass rock... it was the lure of sleazy motel rooms, fast groupies and a free continental breakfast that inspired us to become and continue being musicians (Okay, we like the music too)." Z.D.

WHAT'S IN A NAME?
"When you play music for a living, sometimes you take almost any job that comes along," says Zak, the tall, trim lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist who fronts the four piece outfit. "A few years ago we were literally existing from gig to gig, when an odd looking gentleman approached us after a show and asked if we'd like to score and play on the soundtrack for a film he was producing. Imagine our surprise when a few days later, we arrived at a Hollywood Hills mansion that featured a home studio and was also the location for the film, a Triple X rated one at that."

"After completing the soundtrack later that week, we were asked to select a fictitious name for the credits. As a lark, we selected "The ONE EYED SNAKES." Now, we didn't make this choice to offend women or anything like that, we were just having fun with the new, ugh, genre in which we were working. And guess what, the producers rejected the name because they thought it was too raunchy (Say What? It's a porn flick!). I don't recall what name was used for the music credits, but we decided then and there that the "One Eyed Snakes" moniker would be resurrected." And with their eponymous debut CD on independent BIG WATER RECORDS, Zak and his mates did just that.

"If Rock n Roll is like Sex (and it often is), then ZAK DANIELS AND THE ONE EYED SNAKES are like a multiple orgasm." -Music Express (all as compiled form the bands website)

STONE COLD BOYS - Cool Stoner Vibe!

Stone Cold Boys is a russian band, founded in 2007 in Moscow. The band's recognizable mark is style-mixing, though originally they belong to the first stoner-rock wave in Russia, with such bands as Cactus Jumper and Evil Cosmonaut. Being interested mostly in 60-70's and 90's, the musicians produce riff-based compositions, throwing grunge, blues, jazz and hardcore in one melting pot. That caused some cold welcome from conservative stoner-listeners and, at the same time, the recognition from the fans of the styles mentioned above. As for themselves, Stanislav, Pavel, Ivan and Eugene never tried to be the part of some specific musical society. Their love for stoner culture and music is neighbouring with their love to some crude humor, boogie-dancing, psychodelic trips and tons of self-irony. Jewish cowboys make friends with Egyptian mummies and Action Heroes, concerning their songs' lyrics. From being serious to being hularious — and don't forget to dance! The band has already gathered some positive reviews from russian musical press and published their first album «Just a Fish» in December 2009.  (as compiled via band website)

PARADOX - “Corporate Pollution” Has Arrived!

Hey Friends,
The long awaited new Paradox album 'Corporate Pollution' is finally here!! The album is available on physical CD and full download from CD Baby. The album is also available for full download on Apple iTunes, Amazon MP3 and will also be available on Napster, Spotify and many more online retailers.

Formed in 1996 by brothers Pete Mac and Mike Mac the early Paradox sound was heavily influenced by the Grunge Era of the 90's. The band shaped much of their music around many vocal harmonies layered on top of power chord riffs. After playing the local circuit, recording many demos and fine tuning their sound Paradox headed to the US and secured a record deal with an independent label based in Los Angeles, California.

Paradox have toured both Europe and the US and have built a steady fanbase worldwide from CD and download sales, their prominent internet presence and in particular word of mouth. Paradox continue to work on a full time professional level , in a bid to ensure they reach their full potential (as compiled from the bands website).

BOSS 302 - Hard Rock/ Metal/ Stoner Rock

BOSS 302 is a 3 piece hard rock band from South Jersey signed to Toil Records out of Philadelphia who released their debut CD in Sep 2010. With brothers Larry Lerro as the bassist & lead singer and Mike as the drummer it makes up a machine tight rhythm section. John Modugno completes the solid foundation of the band as lead guitarist and also singer.

BOSS 302's influences range from the slow & heavy riffs of Black Sabbath & Kyuss, the intensity of Motorhead, to the stoner rock grooves of Queens of the Stone Age & Fu Manchu. Their no compromise approach from the beginning has lead them to be a true, authentic hard rock band. Always a great live band to see so look out for upcoming dates (as compiled from the bands website).

ALPHA PREVAIL - Modern Arena Rock

With roots in Orange County, CA, Alpha Prevail is made up of four young men with a lust for life and a passion for good, honest music.  Alpha Prevail mixes a strong pallete of hard rock force with colorful artistic technicality. Their sound can be defined as Modern Arena Rock, somewhere in the vein of Linkin Park, Paramore, and My Chemical Romance.Their unique style is pulled from the minds of lead singer Daniel Mckim, drummer Andy Gardikas, bassist Steve Stelling, and guitarist Chris Griffith.

In a phrase, ALPHA PREVAIL can be defined as Self-Actualization; the achievement of one's full potential through creativity, independence, spontaneity, and a grasp of the real world. Regardless of what your passion is, ALPHA PREVAIL is the harnessing of that emotion, the recognition of the talents you possess, and the channeling of the two to achieve your goals and dreams (as compiled from the bands website).

THE SlimP - A New Dimension

The SlimP started in 2003 as a quartet. All four were deeply influenced by wave music and bands like The Cure during the 80ies. But they didn't want to warm up old stuff. ;-) With two bass-guitars and a female vocalist, they soon found their own personality and their unique sound: darkwave full of melancholy, leading you into a new dimension of music. This sound was supplemented by a second guitar during 2004/05, adding a dash of hardness to the music and to the second album "Some seconds Later".

Now the four original members of The SlimP are on the way to new, even darker sounds (as compiled from the bands website).

A hard-hitting New Orleans-style horn band, like a mix of Tower of Power, Santana, the Blues Brothers, and a pre-80s Kool and the Gang (or if you're too young for that, think Big Bad Voodoo Daddy crossed with Ozomatli and Cake).   Come check us out at our next show, and find out what you've been missing! HYPNOS 69 - Space Jazz ~ Hard Psych Rock

This band is often linked to the stoner-scene, but these four Belgian guys evade that label by embracing so many different forms of music and taking the best aspects of rock over the past 30 years and refine them into a sound of their own, which just never gets boring. "They sound so damn retro, unbelievably melodic and timelessly beautiful". However, Hypnos 69 has not forgotten how to rock. They are extremely gifted musicians with a passion for playing music, who put their soul, their whole being into their performance on stage.

When you've visited one of their shows, you'll know they're capable of conjuring up a massive wall of sound whilst keeping a high level of clarity. They manage to appeal to music lovers from different genres, and they always deliver top class rock'n roll (as compiled from the bands website).

TAOST - Punkadelic Rock with a Twist !

TAOST is a 4-piece unit from Eastern Long Island that skillfully weaves jam-band spontaneity with a punk sensibility -- charting a new course for “Punkadelic Rock”. The band creates a sound that is equal parts CBGB's punk and Haight-Ashbury psychedelia.

Lead guitarist Fred Bell cut his teeth in the raucous '70s NYC punk scene at such legendary venues as CBGB's and Max's Kansas City. His bold style captures the essence of the psychedelic '60s and rockets with the intensity of '70s punk abandon. A passion for rock and roll runs in the family -- Fred’s brother Marky Ramone earned a slot in the Rock & Roll hall of fame behind the drums with The Ramones. Darren Mignone brings a taste of Americana and a classic Jam Band sensibility to his diverse guitar textures. Whether it’s on electric, acoustic, or slide guitar, Darren weaves his way tastefully between Fred's soaring lead play and the band’s solid rhythm section -- made up of Bassist Dwayne Carlson and drummer Kyle Mealy. Dwayne takes a song-oriented approach to the bass – adding a quirky and adventurous underside to the band’s foundation. Kyle brings reggae/funk and progressive rock chops to the table. His relentless grooves and unique playing style are featured on the many instrumental interludes heard as part of TAOST's brand of ”Punkadelic Rock”.

2011 is a launching point for TAOST. The debut 3P, 'I Know You've Been Talking About Me' was released in January with additional 3Ps to be released every 10-12 weeks. The new digital musical landscape allows a band like TAOST to keep fans satisfied with plenty of fresh new music. It’s an ability TAOST will use to the fullest in 2011 – along with regular performances throughout the Northeastern United States and Beyond.
TAOST. The psychedelic rock band with an unexpected twist.
