Cold Country ..

SORRY TO SAY, PLUTO RADIO WILL NOT BE IN OPERATION FROM FRI JULY 26th THROUGH WED AUGUST 7th - LEE HAS TO REWORK THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IN THE CRISMAN CAVE.  HOPE TO HAVE ALL OUR LISTENERS BACK IN AUGUST FOR MORE MUSIC DESERVING TO BE HEARD.

Chicago-based musician Sean McConnell has been releasing EPs under the Cold Country moniker for the past several months and has just dropped his first full-band EP, Missing the Muse, exclusively on BandCamp. He is currently working on a follow-up as an artist-in-residence at Hill House in East Jordan, Michigan and will tour U.S. DIY spaces in August before making his Daytrotter debut in September.

Las Vendatta on the commercial free Pluto Radio stream..


   Last Vendetta are a 4 piece with influences ranging from Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro and Don Broco to Blink 182 and Twin Atlantic.

    They're releasing their debut single 'To Be Continued' on the 15th July for free and their second single “Savages” on the 12th August through Sonic Forge Records. I'll keep this short and sweet, I've included the download link for both singles below along with their full press pack.

    World Cafe Live is excited to present an encore performance of this 70th Birthday Tribute to George Harrison.
Join us as Philly Local musician Charlie Phillips hosts a troupe of local musicians who will perform an evening of “Harrisongs”, spanning the breadth of his songwriting career from The Beatles to his solo works.

Performing along with the Charlie Phillips Band will be other Philly Local musicians and bands including 12 Mile Circle, Derek Chafin, Mike Clagett, Elwood James Band, Justin DePaola, Nik Everett, Jerry Hludzik, The Parsnip Revolt, T. Rock Phillips, Kyle Swartzwelder, and Zorro Gato.

Formed by Thomas Storz (bass, percussion), Justin Toland (vocals, guitar, percussion) and Andrew Denham (drums, percussion), and originally from Mississippi, the power trio Dirty Streets now calls Memphis home. That's where they recorded their new album "Blades Of Grass", at the legendary Ardent studio, under the guidance of sound engineer Adam Hill. The core trio also enlisted the talents of Lucero's Rick Steff on keys for this effort.
"Blades Of Grass" is heavy music bathed in blues, folk and psychedelia, with chops to spare and a working class point of view.

Biography
Formed in 2000 by Brian Rogers(singer), and Curtis Harvey(guitar), Absent Me is a 4 man Progressive rock band from Sacramento Ca. In 2002, the jazz sound was injected with the addition of Job(bass), only to complete the ultimate capabilities in 2004 when Don(drums) joined to write and record all new music for a full length L.P., entitled "Hate To Wake You" , released September 2006.
