A Sneak Preview of Solstice Coil's Upcoming Third Album

This instrumental is an excerpt from a 9-minute piece called "The Bargain", which will be included in Solstice Coil's upcoming third album. This segment of the song was recorded live at the studio, a first in Solstice Coil history.

Formed in late 2001, Solstice Coil is one of Israel's most veteran progressive rock groups. The band's upcoming third album, a follow-up to Natural Causes (2011), released globally via Melodic Revolution Records, will feature 10 new tracks written, arranged and produced by the band.

After a successful tour of India in 2012, Solstice Coil is gearing up for more international performances in 2014 in support of the new album.

John Wesley Harding on the commercial free Pluto Radio stream .

Greetings everyone,

Thanks for downloading the sampler via Noisetrade! I'm just finishing a new album for release in September on Yep Roc. I promise you something new and unexpected and I say that with total confidence. And if you enjoyed Pieces of the Past, the unreleased new song on the sampler, in fact its title track, you'll find a fully orchestrated version of that on the new record too, along with many other brand new songs. The Cabinet of Wonders continues to record and broadcast: please check us out at jwhcabinetofwonders.com. NPR versions of recent Cabinets of Wonder can be heard HERE. Also, if you enjoyed the sampler, can I also recommend the Making Love To Bob Dylan 12" single, which I think you'll enjoy a lot.

Best wishes
wes

ECR Music Group release on Blake Morgan

Blake Morgan in Huffington Post :: BREAKING NEWS
Musician Blasts Pandora's Hypocrisy In Newly Released Email Exchange

May 6th, 2013 Timothy Stenovec, The Huffington Post––In the third quarter of last year, Blake Morgan's songs were played on Pandora some 27,900 times. But the New York-based recording artist and label owner said he made only $1.62 from the popular Internet radio service.
So he found it "disappointingly hypocritical" when he received an email last week from Tim Westergren, the founder of Pandora, that said the company's "goal is to make something ... that can materially impact the ability of artists to make a living."
"The way that this felt was disingenuous and it felt like image repair," Morgan told The Huffington Post. "That's lovely talk, but it doesn't match the walk at all." Read the Full Story and Watch the Video HERE

Pass of Era on the commercial free Pluto Radio stream ..

Pass of EraLike all music you and I have ever enjoyed, Pass of Era seeks to move you from this world into the visceral realm of human emotion - a place where you can fully immerse yourself in a journey that builds it's own reality as time moves forward. That feeling of discovery and passion is why we are here - to write - to perform - to listen - to share. This is the world built by three young musicians from Edmonton, Alberta. This is the story of Pass of Era.
The group is currently nearing the release of their debut EP titled "The Scripted Dream" (slated for a January, 2011 release) whilst beginning work on their first full length concept album and preparing to hit the scene and bring their story to the stage.  (per band's webpage www.reverbnation.com/passofera)

Redwater on the commercial free Pluto Radio stream ..

There is a part of the population that is yearning for what is true in this life. People that WANT to wake up from the coma of illusion that has been forced upon us by many external forces. Can it be possible anymore in a world of increasingly forced and processed thought, that music SHOULDN'T be made and tested for the sole reason of becoming a product to sell to the masses?

A group of people that came together to break out of this mediocrity and suffering who are not afraid to take chances on any level--Adventurous song structures, diverse & eclectic sound, going wherever the music takes them but still keeping focus on melody and emotion--A group of musicians fully engaged in pushing the evolution of music while still keeping a solid footing in what has come before.

Four individuals that bring every conceivable emotion that is in ones soul to the music they create...They go by the name....REDWATER. In the simplest sense, they are a rock n' roll band that has an undying drive to create & to explore. There are no limits, and that's the way they like it. (per this amazing band's webpage)

Introducing Red 13 ..

ReD 13ReD 13 Bio:

ReD 13 are a badass hard-rockin band from Medway in Kent. We have a plan to revive rock from its skirt wearing defunct ways... And put the trousers back on it!!!

The Four Elements...

We rumble like thunder on the solid beats of our drummer- 'Big Red' Pete. We will rock your asses and rip your face off with our evil riffage courtesy of the one, the only, Pablo 'Hendrix ain't got **** on me' Diablo. We got the best bassist for miles around backing us up, with some funky like a monkey fucking a chunky junky bass lines... Lak is the main man. Where would a band be without a beer fuelled **** singing his heart out in a way that would make a million bluesmen proud???... Thats what you get from Jon-Lee Kynslay.

Our Sound...

Imagine kidnapping Nuno Bettencourt, Iron Maiden, AC/DC The Chilli Peppers, Skid Row and G.W.A.R... Stuffing them in a room together with a bunch of instruments, pointing a gun at their heads and telling them to write the greatest album ever?!!... The end product STILL wouldn't be anywhere near as good as we are... But it's the closest you're gonna get.

Tony Levin's Road Diary

Mr Levin is kind enough to share some of his musical experiences with us ..

WELCOME TO ONE OF THE WEB'S LONGEST RUNNING BLOGS

Bassist Tony Levin has been sharing his road experiences here since 1996 (which sounds fairly recent, but in the Internet world, it isn't. Even the terms weblog and blog were coined in 1997 and 1999.)

We have over 400 archived tour pages on the site (with about 6,800 photos) and we're happy to have had 4 million visits.   YOU CAN FIND MR. LEVEN'S BLOG AT http://www.papabear.com/

Fort Fairfield - "Prenzlauer Berg"

Prenzlauer Berg is what you get when you boil down Berlin Night Express, late nights at Mikkeller Bar, traveling, sleep deprivation, nerve-wracking evenings at Rambergsvallen, staring at white walls in random budget hotel rooms, childish idol worship and help from Malmös finest siblings the Lamberths.

Francesco Baiocchi - "45 minutes in hard drive
                through different ways"

The album "45 minutes in hard drive through different ways" was born as a soundtrack for an audio visual installation presenata in September 2012 in Valletta, capital of Malta, during the White Night, commissioned by the Malta Council for Culture and the arts. The Maltese show of 10 hours, including a live painting on three canvases (150 x 100) mounted in a prism, some of the sets with video projection art during the concert, is an attempt to insert an unusual artistic expression in a particular context of this location of the center of the Mediterranean. The show also includes body painting and audiovisual installation from which the music of the album is about.

thank you for your support Acustronica netlabel
http://www.acustronica.com

Acustronica is a netlabel with a specific purpose: to find and to promote those musicians and bands who are making some refreshing and creative music.
Acustronica is one of the few netlabels which features music played with "real" instruments, along with some totally electronics release...simply put, we don't like genres distinctions and boundaries.
