In 2003, Van and Borner record their debut studio album "Miracles", with invited guitarists solo-Marek Gorlitz, and bass - Darek Budkiewicz and Jolanta Literska vocalist.  A new, joint production met with good reception, a couple of songs were on radio playlists in the world, "Shadow Dancing" and "Sequences".

In March 2004, Van toured Poland with the Russian team Romislokus. In March 2005, the band was invited to participate in the 9th edition of the prestigious progressive music festival in Mexicali, Mexico, "Baja Prog" along with Caravan, Taal, Ashtar, Tryo, Tripod, Ozric Tentacles and many other artists from around the world.  After returning home the composition begins on a new studio album entitled "Gate" (as compiled from Van's website).

01. Elysian Pleasures05. Serpentine
02. Nearly Four06. Birds' Nest
03. Man Changing The Atoms07. Smoke Signals
04. In Tides08. For The Love Of Bokeh

The power is back on ..

Our station experienced a power outage today.   We are back up and running.  Sorry for the loss of the cool vibe, yet, keep in mind, it is difficult to broadcast from the distant edge of the galaxy.

September brings us the return of big dumb guitars and fat synths is the drum-heavy "Queen Of Hearbreak":

(there's a picture here - turn on remote content)

Did you miss the heavy stuff? Me too. It's coming back, one song at a time.

We've taken some time off to retool the CKG sound, but Oct 13th there's a special show coming - the 1st Anniversary of the opening of the club Radio in Somerville. Sadly our own Max Butler will be tickling the ivories for a theatre show at the Oberon, so we'll have a special guest on keyboards for that show only. We'll put all the details up on facebook shortly.

One song a month, forever. We've got something really cool for next month.... I'll probably leak it to the bandcamp page a bit early, so check that if you're jonesing for new music.

Cheers,
Eric

Phil Bowley ...

Phil Bowley is a guitarist /singer from Sydney, Australia.   and over the edge.  Phil is a gifted musician who knows what to play in any n situation. He has spent most of his life dedicated to the six string, being equally comfortable playing Les pauls, strat's, tele's and acoustic.

Raised on the styles of Hendrix / Page / Blackmore / Iommi / Gary Moore / Michael Schenker / Van Halen / Kevin Pratt , Phil has created a style uniquely his own. Phil say's.."the key is always in the feel, one note can work, but sometimes you need 1,000,000" (as compiled from Phil Bowley's website).

Will Carroll on the commercial free Pluto Radio stream .

I write songs, I sing them, I play them ....its what I do, its all I know. Can't help it...tried to quit, can't...its a disease…takes over your brain. I'm on a rock, hurling thru space, and this is what I do to pass the time...the winds of endless cosmic flight.....

Okay, I am from Connecticut, currently living in Texas ....and my 15th and 16th CD's ,"Steep Rock", and "On the Way" are now online for download and free listens. You can find selected tracks on I-Tunes, Napster and other music download sites.   Me?? In a family with ten kids, Irish-Sicilian tradition is you give one to the church, they picked me.!! So I spent some time at a monastery as a vow of silence was goin on ,very strange. But I couldn't close myself off like that, too hard. I didn't want to hide from reality, better to face it... Religion??? maybe not for me......

"Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too... Imagine all the people Living life in peace"... (John Lennon)

So I started a band with my friends ...played in a lot of bands with some now famous people, been on the same bill with Ringo Starr and All Stars (Joe Walsh, Todd Rundgren, Timothy B. Schmidt, Burton Cummings of Guess Who), Yes (with Rick Wakeman) ,J Geils, Gregg Allman, Joe Ely, Bonnie Raitt, NRBQ,…and Michael Bolton was lead guitar and singer for one of my earliest bands "Wheatfield Ash"..anyways...made some records ya know...traveled all over the place playin, havin fun...long story short, so now I'm down in Dallas Texas...playin out every now an then, working on some new songs, and life still goes on an on an on an on...... (as compiled from the bands website).
