STONE COLD BOYS - Blues / Psychedelic / Rock

Stone Cold Boys is a Russian band, founded in 2007 in Moscow. The band's recognizable mark is style-mixing, though originally they belong to the first stoner-rock wave in Russia, with such bands as Cactus Jumper and Evil Cosmonaut. Being interested mostly in 60-70's and 90's, the musicians produce riff-based compositions, throwing grunge, blues, jazz and hardcore in one melting pot. That caused some cold welcome from conservative stoner-listeners and, at the same time, the recognition from the fans of the styles mentioned above. As for themselves, Stanislav, Pavel, Ivan and Eugene never tried to be the part of some specific musical society. Their love for stoner culture and music is neighboring with their love to some crude humor, boogie-dancing, psychadelic trips and tons of self-irony. THE MATT ANGUS THING - Country - Jam-Rock

After 13 years and over a dozen versions of the band Angus, Matt was ready for something new and he found it with the Matt Angus Thing.  6 years ago Matt recorded his first solo effort "Matt Angus" and since then he has been busy archiving new songs and pulling some old ones out of the archives.  The Matt Angus Thing has hundreds of hours of live recordings and dozens of new songs recorded, but not completed. With the release of the soundtrack of “Demand Your Independents”, The Matt Angus Thing will be able to release some of those live tunes and a few of the studio ones.

After a 5 years hiatus from full-time touring, including a stint as the owner of the Stanhope House and staying home with his children Maeve and Theodore, it is time to hear some of these tunes that he has been hoarding. (as compiled on the bands website)

FAT TREE - Alternative / Jam / Rock / Funky

What happens when you take the musical freedom of Dave Matthews Band, the positive rock energy from 311, the intelligent quirks of Ben Folds, the melodic funk of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the jazz-pop finesse and technicality of Herbie Hancock, the simple power of Jason Mraz, the rock riffs of Lynard Skynard and a splash of Bob Marley?  You would probably get something that sounds like Fat Tree. With that foundation of myriad influences, they have built a truly unique and engaging sound of their own.

Fat Tree is comprised of brothers Eric, Kyle, and Samuel Jacobs, and their long time friend Sam Bischof. They built a history together in the years they grew up in Alamogordo, NM, and that history shines through in their music, having roots in the past and branches into the future.

CAPTAIN OBVIOUS - Funk / Jam Band / Rock

Captain Obvious is about six guys musically connecting to each other and to their audience, trying to overcome stylistical limits and to reach a state of trance and euphoria.

We are no Jam Band in a sense of aimless noodling-around, of playing one solo after the next, more so we try to really listen to each other and challenge ourselves to take risks on stage at the cost of perfection. And to just do what feels right musically. At one moment you might hear us play an unexpected cover song or a tightly arranged 2-minute-rocker, the next we might delve into a 15-minute Dub-Electronica-Funk Jam. You also might hear us try spontaneous chord or rhythm changes on stage which might work and be the coolest thing we ever did.. or also might not. That's basically what The Captain is about. Having a fun time with our audience, taking risks, expressing oneself musically, making interesting music that you can move your body to. About taking it all to the next level. Space Bee

SPACE BEE is a rock band with a unique style that incorporates a wide range of colors to its music, from Arabian scales to a psychedelic feel, to a powerful, vintage rock sound.
“LIVE IN SPACE!” is the name of their first LP which got pretty good reviews from critics all over.
IT'S ALIVE! VOL.1 is finally out...the tour began in Equator and continued in Argentina. Back in Peru, 2010 started with a bunch of gigs and presentations such as opening for Guns n' Roses in March....more news to come..

Founded in 2006, Sugar from Soul spent the first two years of their
existence writing and recording songs for their first album, which was released in 2008.

Rewarded for their live activity in 2009 they were crowned "newcomer band 2009" by Beyerdynamic and regioactive.de, Germany's No.1 address for bands and musicians.

In 2010 they expanded to the European abroad playing shows in Italy (winning the international Upload Contest in Bolzano), UK (including two London shows) and Norway.

 Plastique Noir is a Brazilian gothic/post-punk band born in the end of 2005/beginning of 2006 at Fortaleza-CE-Brazil, whose current members are Airton S (voice/electronics), Márcio Mäzela (electric guitar) and Danyel (bass/guitars). Suddenly it got notoriety at its homecity, where its gigs became habitual in the main local nightclubs and festivals. Who is Secret Skwirl?

THE BEST PSYCHEDELIC ROCK YOU NEVER HEARD.

In late 2009, a recording engineer (Sheldon Gomberg) and a friend of his drove by a garage sale, in Tarzana, CA; and noticed a stack of 2 inch tape boxes. After a brief discussion with the homeowner, he found out that the tapes had apparently been left in a closet, under the stairs of her home, and were there when she moved in. She found the tapes when the wood floors of the house were being refinished. She was the fourth owner of the home, which was built (according to her) in 1972. There were 23 boxes of tape; which Sheldon bought for the forty-seven bucks that he had in his wallet, at the time.
Sheldon took the tapes back to his recording studio The Carriage House in Silverlake, and cracked them open. The only information in the boxes were song lists with the name “Sloan Kramer” written by hand, beside each title. A quick count of the titles totaled slightly over one hundred songs!
Sheldon had the tapes baked (to avoid delamination) and digitized, for playback in Pro Tools.
