Thee Stag Knights ..

Thee Stag Knights first came together in early 2000 as a three piece featuring Ben Butler on guitar, Adele Daniele on drums and vocals and Iain McIntyre on bass and shouting. Informed by a love of raw 60s rock n roll and trashy exotica. Playing numerous shambolic shows at the fabulous Town Hall and other illustrious venues around Melbourne the band recorded their debut album with Steve Hickmott in September 2000.
Thee Stag Knights fully reloaded in 2005 with the addition of Laila Marie Costa Ramone on guitar, vocals and keyboards. Playing a bunch of shows, mainly at The Tote, the band recorded "Santa's Been A Naughty Boy" for the 2005 Rock Against Bullshit Christmas compilation... In 2006 the band have honed their twin guitar assault adding a number of new songs, playing The Tote and recently laying down a bunch of tracks with Laura MacFarlane at Backyard Charlies.
