Wyrm Seed’s debut isn’t something you’d put on when you need to get
shit done. It’s stoner music for stoners and ex-stoners who like to
remember the good old days when getting shit done had no meaning in
one’s life. And it’s the perfect soundtrack for that. Black Wyrm Seed
are more than comfortable going at their own, sloth-like pace. The fact
that it doesn’t get old or drag is a testament to the fact that they
write songs – slow as molasses songs – but songs none the less. If
that’s your bag, I heavily suggest digging out your old tape deck and
finding a bag of Doritos. You’ll thank me."
