The
Hillmisters formed as an emerging friendship, fellow spirits looking to
make shimmering alternative pop sounds like those which excited them
so. A joyous sound of noisy, melodic, messy guitar pop with healthy
doses of feedback and experimentation. It is bands like The Velvet
Underground, The Kinks, The 13th Floor Elevators that are all staple
diets for these guys, but influences are certainly far ranging. Arising
from Southend in Essex the magic is between the eyes, the sun and moon.
