VAN - Polish Proggressive Rock

The band known as Van & Borner came to existance in 1995 as a duo composiong and performing electronic music. The two founding members were Barbara Zielinska-Van and Sabina Borner. Both artists became interested in electronic music during their studies at the Karol Szymanowski Academy Of Music in Katowice. Their compositions received a warm welcome and were often aired on local radio stations and on Polish Radio 3, during the show hosted by Jerzy Kordowicz.  (more about this amazing band @ http://www.myspace.com/vanbarbarazielinska)

"VAN was early on jumping into the commercial free Pluto Radio stream...  Their music is everything that I like in audio stimulation, unique, inventive, and among the emerging planet of innovators...  an amazing talent deserving to be heard!"

ZAK DANIELS AND THE ONE EYED SNAKES - Hard Rock...As It Should Be!

"Besides the passion and love we have for intelligent lyrics
combined with high energy kick ass rock... it was the lure of
sleazy motel rooms, fast groupies and a free continental
breakfast that inspired us to become and continue
being musicians (Okay, we like the music too).
"

The burgeoning Los Angeles club scene has witnessed the birth of dozens of quality rock bands from the Doors to Guns 'N' Roses, but none quite so humorously defiant as ZAK DANIELS & THE ONE EYED SNAKES. Take the band's name for instance. "When you play music for a living, sometimes you take almost any job that comes along," says Zak, the tall, trim lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist who fronts the four piece outfit. "A few years ago we were literally existing from gig to gig, when an odd looking gentleman approached us after a show and asked if we'd like to score and play on the soundtrack for a film he was producing. Imagine our surprise when a few days later, we arrived at a Hollywood Hills mansion that featured a home studio and was also the location for the film, a Triple X rated one at that." (as compiled on the bands website)

KEVIN MARTIN - Throwback Pop!

Meet Kevin Martin - a solo pop-rock songwriter with a sound that’s described as “Burt Bacharach meets Queen and Elton John.” A San Diego native, Kevin got his musical start in taking classical piano lessons  after his parents overheard him singing. He started writing songs at age 12 and played his first bar gig with a band at age 16. In high school he honed his vocal skills and won multiple awards for his stage performances in a variety of musicals, and by senior year was voted  “Most likely to be on MTV.”  While Kevin is technically making his debut as a solo performer, he is a seasoned veteran of performing in rock bands - most notably playing keyboards and co-writing for established San Diego pop-rockers, Get Back Loretta. The band has won a total of six San Diego Music Awards while Kevin has been part of the band. With Get Back Loretta, Kevin has played notable venues such as The Casbah, Belly Up, House of Blues, and the Warfield in SF to crowds of 3000+. (as compiled on Kevin's website)

STONE COLD BOYS - Stoner / Blues / Psychedelic

Stone Cold Boys is a Russian band, founded in 2007 in Moscow. The band's recognizable mark is style-mixing, though originally they belong to the first stoner-rock wave in Russia, with such bands as Cactus Jumper and Evil Cosmonaut. Being interested mostly in 60-70's and 90's, the musicians produce riff-based compositions, throwing grunge, blues, jazz and hardcore in one melting pot. As for themselves, Stanislav, Pavel, Ivan and Eugene never tried to be the part of some specific musical society. Their love for stoner culture and music is neighbouring with their love to some crude humor, boogie-dancing, psychodelic trips and tons of self-irony. Jewish cowboys make friends with Egyptian mummies and Action Heroes, concerning their songs' lyrics. From being serious to being hilarious — and don't forget to dance! The band has already gathered some positive reviews from Russian musical press and published their first album Just a Fish in December 2009. In the atmosphere of conspiracy and mystery Stone Cold Boys are working hard now on their new release. (as compiled on the bands website)

Zombies of the Stratosphere jump into the Pluto Radio mix..!

Our heroes met at University, where they were bitter rivals. Years later, they found themselves in New York City, beavering away in dusty corners of the Great Media Behemoth: J put in time at a literary agency and studied the mystical art of making records while slaving as a sound engineer at various hip recording studios about town, while A avoided sunlight as a film archivist and curator at a br...oadcasting museum. Both had unsatisfying tenures in doomed rock combos where they nevertheless honed their musical skills. Each fancied himself a songwriter in the classic pop mode and pursued the elusive art with uncommon zeal, resting only for massive infusions of film noir and comic books.

It was inevitable that they join forces and continue in the tradition of their idols Ray Davies, Elvis Costello, and Brian Wilson, i.e., churning out gem-like compositions with maddeningly infectious tunes and obscure lyrics while failing to deal with their crippling emotional problems.  (more found @ the band's site)

ANARCHITEX - Alternative / Punk / Psychedelic

Although the Anarchitex have roamed the post-punk musical landscape of Houston for nearly three decades, the band's cantankerous barrage of noise remains far under the radar. Hopefully their newest and most chiseled release, Digital Dark Age, will finally crown them alongside other local veterans like The Hates and Mydolls as both survivors and sonic entrepreneurs, albeit with a more caustic underbelly than both.
Part of their raw genius sprouts from Anarchitex's messy and motley history. At various times, band members have been involved in projects far and wide, including Naked Amerika, Really Red, the Pain Teens and Happy Fingers Institute. These bands made their marks at venues like the Island and Axiom in the 1980s, Commerce St. Warehouse and Catal Huyuk in the 1990s, and Rudyard's and The Mink these past few years. (as compiled on the bands website)

THE LUCK OF EDEN HALL - Popped Psychedelic Rock and Rollism

On April 18th, 2009 a band by the name of The Luck of Edeb Hall was taking to Vintage Vinyl, a record store in Evanston, IL, to play a show in support of their new album 'When The Clock Starts to Wake Up We Go To Sleep'. As it so happened, one of the attendees at this show was a long time friend of the band who wanted to stop by and see how they had changed in the 10+ years it had been since he had last seen them. That friend was none other than Billy Corgan. On getting the chance to see the band play live again Billy says, "'Watching them play together again was quite emotional for me. Greg was one of my few 'friends' in the Chicago musical scene. By and large the local bands didn't like what we were doing style-wise, but our 2 bands really connected."
Originally from Kalamazoo, MI Gregory Curvey, lead singer and guitarist for The Luck of Eden Hall relocated to Chicago and it was there that Curvey first met The Smashing Pumpkins front man. (as compiled on the bands website)
