Brigitte Handley and the Dark Shadows - Dark Edged Punk Noir

Imagine The Clash entwined with Marlene Dietrich, The Banshees sprinkled with a 50 ' s sci-fi soundtrack...

The sharp cutting edge of the Danelectro slices up a contrast of dynamic tones to haunting atmospherics whilst the thundering bass and drums set the scene for the Dark Shadows to emerge.…..Just when you thought it was safe to look what lies behind the curtain, shadows appear, looming over and engulfing you with their presence and sound. The Dark Shadows’ songs range from being alienated in a world afraid of difference to laments of love that is lost.

This Sydney based independent 3 piece has toured extensively throughout Australia, USA & Europe, playing with bands such as The Stray Cats (USA), Marky Ramone (USA), Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (USA), Tiger Army (USA), 45 Grave (USA), Meteors (UK), The Quakes (USA), Batmobile (NL), Demented Are Go (UK), Mad Sin (Germany), Frenzy, (UK), The Angry Tradesmen (AUS), Pierced Arrows (ex Dead Moon USA), Hola Ghost (Denmark) The Fireballs, Guana Batz, Koffin Kats (USA) Rezurex (USA) as compiled from the bands website).
