Combining the emotional with the intellectual, Solstice Coil is Israel's first alternative progressive rock band to be formed on the web. Formed at the dawn of 2001 by the songwriting team of Shir Deutch and Opher Vishnia, along with keyboardist / producer Shai Yallin, Solstice Coil first broke into the consciousness of the Israeli music scene by touring nationwide as a Radiohead and Muse cover band, working with various bass players and founding member drummer Uri Goldberg, while perfecting their own sound behind the scenes.
