In 2002 four long-time friends who had been involved in different bands (mostly HC/post HC/rock stuff like Ahimsa, Coalition, Afraid of That Day) started to jam together playing what they had a great affection for their entire lives: ‘70s-influenced stoner rock.
In 2003 they recorded a demo which turned out to be pretty popular among the slowly growing breed of their fans. Soon they became one of... the most active Warsaw bands, crossing all the genres and being present at different types of shows from punk rock to rock’n’roll to hardcore and rocking the nights out like crazy. Every once in a while they hit the road to gig Poland, Lithuania, Germany, ending up in some Czech clubs, making a nice soundtrack to bar fights there. Easy going dudes took it easy. It took them a while to record their very first full length, but when they did, it turned out to be really worth waiting for. The record was called “Lazy” (2007) and well... it really was. The title illustrated Elvis’ attitude towards the so-called reality and their music. (as compiled on the bands website)

COUNTRY ROCKIN' REBELS - Country / Blues / Rock and Roll
Kid from Minnesota and kid from Virginia meet out west and make music under the bright California sunshine. The boys were inspired by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, The Hanks Three and The White Stripes and mix the Bakersfield country boogie with down home southern rock and blues. Now a five-piece with an incomparable rhythm section, dueling slide and lead guitars the Rebels bring passion, heart, creative songwriting as well as captivating musicianship to every performance. THE COSMONAUTS - Alternative Rock from Edinburgh
Dynamic four piece from Edinburgh infused with 60s rock, dark sounds and brooding electric cello.
The Cosmonauts were formed in 2008 by guitarist/vocalist Chris Bryce and bassist/vocalist Alan Robertson, the latest phase in a long-term collaboration of almost 10 years. With the aim of creating a more distinctive sound, cellist/vocalist Claire Schiavone was brought on board, adding a notably dark edge to the sound.
After experimenting with several dummers, Paul Stuart joined the group in 2009.
With their line-up settled, The Cosmonauts set to work fusing their sound together and bringing their individual influences and shared vision to the mix. After recording a few demos the band decided to try them out at live gigs in Edinburgh, eliciting a extremely positive response from audiences. With this new found confidence the band then pushed themselves further, securing regular gigs outside Edinburgh, plus radio play in the USA and on Scottish independent radio stations. (as compiled on the bands website)

ZAK DANIELS AND THE ONE EYED SNAKES - Hard Rock...As It Should Be!
"Besides the passion and love we have for intelligent lyrics
combined with high energy kick ass rock... it was the lure of
sleazy motel rooms, fast groupies and a free continental
breakfast that inspired us to become and continue
being musicians (Okay, we like the music too)."
combined with high energy kick ass rock... it was the lure of
sleazy motel rooms, fast groupies and a free continental

The burgeoning Los Angeles club scene has witnessed the birth of dozens of quality rock bands from the Doors to Guns 'N' Roses, but none quite so humorously defiant as ZAK DANIELS & THE ONE EYED SNAKES. Take the band's name for instance. "When you play music for a living, sometimes you take almost any job that comes along," says Zak, the tall, trim lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist who fronts the four piece outfit. "A few years ago we were literally existing from gig to gig, when an odd looking gentleman approached us after a show and asked if we'd like to score and play on the soundtrack for a film he was producing. Imagine our surprise when a few days later, we arrived at a Hollywood Hills mansion that featured a home studio and was also the location for the film, a Triple X rated one at that." ANARCHITEX - Alternative / Punk / Psychedelic
Although the Anarchitex have roamed the post-punk musical landscape of Houston for nearly three decades, the band's cantankerous barrage of noise remains far under the radar. Hopefully their newest and most chiseled release, Digital Dark Age, will finally crown them alongside other local veterans like The Hates and Mydolls as both survivors and sonic entrepreneurs, albeit with a more caustic underbelly than both.
Part of their raw genius sprouts from Anarchitex's messy and motley history. At various times, band members have been involved in projects far and wide, including Naked Amerika, Really Red, the Pain Teens and Happy Fingers Institute. These bands made their marks at venues like the Island and Axiom in the 1980s, Commerce St. Warehouse and Catal Huyuk in the 1990s, and Rudyard's and The Mink these past few years. THE LUCK OF EDEN HALL - Popped Psychedelic Rock and Rollism
On April 18th, 2009 a band by the name of The Luck of Edeb Hall was taking to Vintage Vinyl, a record store in Evanston, IL, to play a show in support of their new album 'When The Clock Starts to Wake Up We Go To Sleep'. As it so happened, one of the attendees at this show was a long time friend of the band who wanted to stop by and see how they had changed in the 10+ years it had been since he had last seen them. That friend was none other than Billy Corgan. On getting the chance to see the band play live again Billy says, "'Watching them play together again was quite emotional for me. Greg was one of my few 'friends' in the Chicago musical scene. By and large the local bands didn't like what we were doing style-wise, but our 2 bands really connected."
Originally from Kalamazoo, MI Gregory Curvey, lead singer and guitarist for The Luck of Eden Hall relocated to Chicago and it was there that Curvey first met The Smashing Pumpkins front man. (as compiled on the bands website)

TITO CALLOWAY - The 'Calloway' Sound!
Born in Detroit, Tito Calloway has been writing, producing, and performing with his three brothers since the age of 5. As “The Calloway”, they recorded over sixty songs and the album,”Frozen for the Future”. Their dynamic sound quickly created a strong and loyal local fan base along with major industry attention. To further pursue his music career Tito moved out west to LA. The time spent in LA allowed Tito to elevate himself as an artist and a sound businessman. Along the way Tito has written, produced, and collaborated with various hip hop and rock artists all over the world. Tito's exposure to Rock, Detroit's Electronic Movement and his love for Classic Motown helped create a new fusion of Hip Hop that is now known as The Calloway sound. Most noticeably was the 2008 recording of the "Down & Out Remix" by Tito and the rock group Tantric.
So I hope y'all are ready because once again...It's Calloway Time!!! (as compiled on Tito's website)
"We're all gifted in a way but see what sets us apart, Is some use their art for the sole reason of being a star. I use the gift of gab that God gave me to speak from my heart. To help my people see their way through the dark...Sorta like the Moon." -Tito Calloway

JOHN LUDI
John Ludi was born and (to use the term loosely) raised in Detroit, a now-decaying post-industrial Mid-Western American city that used to be the automotive capital of the world. From a very early age, Ludi sensed that there was something deeply wrong with the world and the majority of the people living on it. Though of a generally easygoing and humorous nature, Ludi possessed a deep and omnipresent sense of foreboding in his heart that did not exactly translate well in his youthful attempts at communicating with his fellow humans. This particular attribute would persist indefinitely. Ludi grew up reading voraciously, progressing from a foundation of science fiction, fantasy and horror to mythology, science, philosophy, economics and world religions.
Ludi discovered a profound love for music in the form of Frank Zappa, King Crimson, and Peter Gabriel when he was in his early teens. He started singing odd and unpleasant little songs with a pianist/trumpeter friend in middle school, attempting to blend humor and dissonance in way that some would term avant guard (though on reflection could simply be termed "bad" ).
At around 13 years of age, Ludi started learning how to play guitar, bass, and later, keyboards, as well as attempting to harness his embryonic vocal skills. Though very much intellectually and emotionally moved by progressive genres of rock music, Ludi discovered the British Wave of Punk Rock in the mid/late 70's and realized that the Sex Pistols and the Clash were a lot closer to his current skill set than Gentle Giant or Yes. The overtly political nature of the lyrics also inspired him. (as compiled on John Ludi's website)

SWIRL = Adrenaline!
In Mukilteo, Washington, brothers Duane and Brian Jones (DT and Bam-Bam, respectively) started the group Swirl. They released a CD, toured the United States and even went to Japan in the late 90’s into the early 2000’s. In 2004 Fred Coury remixed songs from their first CD. With the insertion of band members Al Ramirez (lead singer) and Shane Carlson (bass) in 2008, the group finally had their ducks in a row and began their quest to deliver their music to the masses. SLOW MOTION CENTERFOLD - Animated. Volatile. Melodic. Snappy. Rambunctious. Catchy
A Rock Band from Nashville, TN comprised of four best friends from childhood (two of whom are brothers) plus a Tyson Beckfordish dude that wails in on drums, their energy is as explosive as their songs are melodious.
Pulling from a variety of influences, Slow Motion Centerfold's songs roll along with impressive guitar riffs, barroom piano parts, rhythmic drums and keyboard lines equally at home on a Prince or Cure tune. The band's influences are so broad they are hard to pin down musically. Guitar rock revisionists? Keyboard pop song deconstructionists? SMC can play in a lot of different keys. But whatever you want to call the sound, the band brings an intensity to their live shows, driven largely by front man Alex Hall's high wire antics. (as compiled on the bands website)

CHASING DISASTER - Bullet for a Rose
PLAY>>> Pluto Radiio stream!
The 2011 New Mexico Music Awards has nominated our song "Chasing A Disaster" for "Song of the Year"
Exploding out of Albuquerque, NM comes Chasing Disaster. The band tears up an extremely unique, retro-contemporary rock sound that is fronted by Cody Bond, who belts smooth and melodic, yet hyper-powerful, vocals (somewhere between Robert Plant and Jeff Buckley). Always by his side, Cody is complemented by the fluidly multi-talented song-writer, guitarist, vocalist and pianist, Yigal Cohen. Fueled by pure style and intensity, Michael Gatten delivers the beat with pounding, straight-up rock ‘n’ roll flavor. Bassist Jon McMillan holds the groove together with an amazing musical foundation based in the complexities of jazz and high energy rock.
After releasing their debut 2011 EP, Bullet For a Rose, the band quickly rose to the top of the local Albuquerque rock charts on Reverb Nation. They have been Featured Artists for Windows Media Player, Reverb Nation and SAS Music & More. They were also highlighted in their local publication, The Albuquerque Journal. What is most important to Chasing Disaster, however, are the fans and feedback they receive from them.
“There’s nothing quite like getting in front of a massive crowd of people and musically taking them places they didn’t know existed. This is what we live for.” –Cody Bond (as compiled on the bands website)

WHITE RABBIT DYNAMITE - From the Light of a Summer's Day.....
White Rabbit Dynamite is a rock experiment, founded in 2008 in Berlin.
The sound is classic but original, and it´s inspired by the rock music of the late 60´s and early 70´s. With their heavy riffing“ guitars and dynamic jazz rock drums they remind of bands like Black Sabbath, Colour Haze and Siena Root. But with their lead vocals they are leaving the hard rock genre to find the white rabbit roaming on its own way. Watch out for "White Rabbit Dynamite"!

BROWN BIRD - High-Spirited, Foot-Stomping !
Brown Bird is better listened to in a room made of wood. Of course, it is easy to download the code and listen to the band on small computer speakers, but what is the point? You miss the warm layers of guitar, banjo, violin, double bass, cello, and bass drum (wooden rim) which hangs thick over their latest full-length effort, "Salt for Salt". Recorded live to tape in Pawtucket, RI, "Salt For Salt..." is the first album by Brown Bird to capture the intense energy of the duo's live show, surging in waves that often swell into high-spirited, foot-stomping madness. David Lamb's lyrics are as well-written as they are emotionally intelligent, thankfully avoiding the pitfalls of the wish-wash known as "modern-folk" or "singer-songwriting". Lamb and his partner MorganEve Swain write simply, and the record is eerily sparse at times - a tambourine, a bass drum and the cello often the sole accompaniement to Lamb's (what a name) cracked, wood-smoke voice. RUDER THAN YOU - Brothers of Love!
RUDER THAN YOU was founded in 1989 by five students at Penn State University who relocated to Philadelphia in 1991. Long known as Philly's top ska band, Ruder Than You's identity has never fit too neatly into any of the generic skacategorizations. While ska and reggae stylings have always provided the common musical thread, over the past 30+ years they've been mixing in dancehall reggae, hip-hop, rocksteady, and rub-a-dub, even adding elements of funk, jazz, and punk - to create their own unique sound. The consistent factor however is the bands energy & and enthusiasm, which inevitably pulls people out onto the dance floor.
The bands current roster of veteran members includes the Round Mound of Dub Sound - singer Freddie Weaver. Band leader Doug Dubrosky still sings and plays tenor sax. He and Don Pancoe on bass hail from the earliest days of RTY. Rod Martino and Chris Klimchak fill out the lineup on guitar and trombone, respectively. Larry "Ace" Snell of the Toasters and Public Service sits on the drum throne.
So, whether it be on the CD player, web, or HOPEFULLY live in concert, you are oh so encouraged to let your mind and body succumb to the rude sounds of those brothers of love, Ruder Than You. (as compiled on the bands website)
