THE PHANTOM CREEPS - Psychobilly & Punk

The Phantom Creeps are three guys hell-bent on wreaking havoc on the Psychobilly/Rockabilly world. Blending Rockabilly, Punk, Country, Psychobilly and good ole' fashioned Rock into their own brand of Hellbilly Rock and Roll, they have established themselves as a band to be reckoned with! Only a few years into existence, The Creeps have been very busy - releasing their debut, self-titled album in the summer of 2009, and their second release, ‘Hellbilly Rebel Fire’ in 2011. They have been playing non-stop and promoting themselves tirelessly.

The Creeps have garnered much attention in the Psychobilly & Punk scene by sharing the stage with such heavyweights as The Guana Batz, The Creepshow, Deadbolt, The Brains, Big John Bates, The Deadcats, The Raygun Cowboys and numerous other bands. Indie and College radio play is coming fast and furious with stations from Canada, U.S., The U.K. and Australia all getting on board. With tight, energetic live performances and great album reviews fuelling the fire.

2012 is shaping up to be the year of the Creep!   Come on in and ride with us down Route 666!!!!!! (as compiled on the bands website)

THE TRUTHS - Psychedelic / Rock / Alternative

Weedy indie, new rave, old wave, post-rock blah blah blah, at last a band to cut through all the bullshit and actually make you fall in love with music again.

Critical response to their live shows has been ecstatic, prompting one journalist to exclaim "The Truths are the best band I’ve seen in ten years”, Stoked magazine calling them “a sexy, aggressive wall of sound”, The Guardian calling them ...“absolutely f*****g amazing!” etc, etc.  (as compiled on the bands website)

CRAVING DAWN - Alternative Rock

Craving Dawn are: Bill (Mox) Waugh (acoustic guitar/vocals/songwriting), Val Sinco (vocals), Brian Waugh (bass), Tom Barry (drums/percussion), Tom Pentland (lead guitar)- Based out of Boise, Idaho, we started in late 2008 with Bill and a solo project. The songs needed a full sound. Val picked up a mic and Brian grabbed his bass. We found Tom Barry in February 2009 with electronic drums, and Tom Pentland completed us in July of 2009. With a variety of influences from Jazz, Metal, Grunge, Classic and new Rock, we combine our tastes in a unique Alternative Rock sound of our own. Lyrics reflect the reality of relationships and the trials of life. Our goals? To take this as far as possible and get our music to as many people as we can! Anyone who has lusted or loved can relate to something we have. We are constantly working on new original material and love to challenge ourselves as musicians. (as compiled on the bands website)

CINDY LEE BERRYHILL - Eccentric Tunes with Charm!

Singer/songwriter Cindy Lee Berryhill's and cellist Renata Bratt have been collaborating with percussionist Randy Hoffman (Harry Partch Ensemble) since the mid 90s. Reuniting in 2011 after a 12 year hiatus, their music features the voice, cello, guitar and glockenspiel with haunting tales of aliens, lost love, brain injured soldiers, and love renewed. Look for old favorites (from Berryhill's six albums) and some brand new songs. (as compiled on the bands website)

Tomorrow's cult artist today. Berrryhill is as unconventional and inspired as any rock performer in America."

GROAN - Doom n' Roll!

In late 2009, an 18-year old Riff Wizard uploaded some tracks to the internet that caught the attention of a number of independent labels. After recruiting a vocalist, drummer and bassist to make his project a real life band, Groan agreed to release their first album, "The Sleeping Wizard", in October 2010 on Doomanoid Records. Very quickly the album (recorded and produced by the band themselves) ...received overwhelming critical praise.

"Doom diehards will absolutely love this album's dedication to walloping, great riffs" - Kerrang!
"Awesome, mind-expanding riffs so spaced out they're practically aliens" - Terrorizer
"This is what all 'Stoner Rock' is meant to be... 10/10" - Doommantia

ANTI-M - Darkwave Gothic Rock

Anti-M was founded as a trio of keyboardists but has evolved in to a 5 piece band with a mixture of electronica, like Depeche Mode, and female fronted gothic rock, like Evanescence, Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil.  The band has released 5 albums: No Waves In Hell, Positively Negative, It H-Hurts - The Instrumentals, Damage, Damaged Little Things.

Anti-m was formed by Mark Rumer, John (Wedge) Wardlaw and Ruston Slager in Santa Barbara, Ca.  Portland Oregon guitarist and college friend, Steve (Salty) Weber, was brought in during the final stages of the recording of the bands first album, No Waves in Hell, to play the bulk of the guitars. The CD was a concept album with a surfing theme and several music videos were made to go along with the music. This caught the eye of surfing film maker Jimi Berlin who started using songs from Anti-M projects in his surf films.  (as compiled on the bands website)

GRAND ASTORIA - Psychedelic / Stoner / Punk / Heavy Metal

Tripped out psychedelic fuzz rock having sex with heavy metal.

THE GRAND ASTORIA was formed in April 2009 by guitarist and singer Kamille Sharapodinov and guitarist Igor Suvorov from Saint-Petersburg. Their previous bands gave them lots of live gigging and studio recording experience. So, it took his new band only a few months to produce the debut eponymous album and win the audience in both Russian capitals with explosive, loud and fuzzy music which they billed as "psychedelic stoner punk". For music samples and booking please visit THE GRAND ASTORIA MyspaceMusic page. (as compiled on the bands website)

FEELS LIKE FRIDAY - Alternative / Indie / Rock

FEELS LIKE FRIDAY™ is a Southern California based group fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist, TOM COURSER. Produced by Guy Eckstine, Feels Like Friday's debut recording, WE LIKE SUPERMODELS, showcases 12 blistering and rockin’ alternative pop/rock songs, that incorporate high energy drums and guitars, with a melodic pop sensibility. The resulting mix of vocal harmony and songwriting craftiness, puts FEELS LIKE FRIDAY on familiar but fresh ground. Reminiscent of The Smiths, David Bowie, and The Cure.
From the opening riff of, “Been Away For A While”, vaguely reminiscent of Pink Floyd and The Beatles, the listener is immediately caught in rapt attention, grooving along to the strong backbeat and three part vocal harmonies, willingly drawn in to something special. Followed by the pulsating uptempo groove of, “See Who I’ll Be Again”, which scores big with a strong mélange of bitter and sweet melodic and lyrical content, disguised as Power Pop at its’ finest. The songs are extremely well put together, with constant motion, tension and release. Unexpected twists and turns appear very nonchalantly, showing the grace and ease of Courser's songwriting, guitar and vocal abilities. (as compiled on the bands website)
