Wake Up lyrics by Smoke Fish...

You say you got to go your way
You gotta carry on
And I say stay don’t play hey!
You gotta move on
It’s a beautiful world just
Shine on
You’ve got places to go
Just go just carry on…
You got the time to choose or lose
You’ve gotta Wake Up
One day you fall and boom you’re doomed
You’ve gotta Wake Up
You say you got to explore the waves
You gotta sail on
And I say stay hey don’t fade away
You gotta float on
It’s a beautiful world just keep on
Shining through
You’ve got places to see
Just leave just carry on…
You got the time to choose or lose
You’ve gotta Wake Up
One day you fall and boom you’re doomed
You’ve gotta Wake Up

Dreams of Reason on the commercial free Pluto Radio stream ..

The incendiary first single from Dreams of Reason’s forthcoming Death Card Dance album hits the airwaves like a sonic tsunami, right before the holiday season. “Nothing says peace and love like a good commentary on the G20 riots,” laughs guitarist Alex Whitcombe. “In all honesty, the song is meant to be a rally cry for life, for love, for sport; whatever your cause happens to be. So there’s really no better time than the present to release it.”

Finding themselves without a vocalist, following a successful run of summer performances, left the band in need of a rallying cry themselves. “We’d just finished opening for Korn, Billy Talent, Volbeat and for the first time we didn’t know what we were going to do next,” states bassist Trevor Landmark. “We’re really hoping those shows and the appearance with Big Wreck will help pave the way to some major tour support slots. Possibly an industry showcase like Canadian Music Week as well,” adds drummer Shand Munro.

Resilient as ever, Dreams of Reason recruited the services of long-time friend and ex-Nickelback vocalist, Scott Rocker to complete work on Death Card Dance. “I can’t wait to hit the road with the guys and really pick up where they left off this summer. DOR has managed to build a strong, dedicated following so I’m really looking forward to the next phase of this adventure. Maybe rock a theater or a stadium in support of some of our heroes.”  More about this band at www.dreamsofreason.com

Paul E. Phonics ..

http://www.5thestatemusic.com/paul-e-phonics.html

Paul E. Phonics is a musical alter ego of Canadian Paul McCormick, a side of the musician that evolved from his fondness for New Wave, Electronica, Progressive Rock, Industrial Rock and Film Scores.  The combination of these influences has led to a sound that is utterly unique with each song becoming the equivalent of a short film in its own right with abstract, poetic lyrics revealing the plot like some kind of secret code.
McCormick left his homeland in 2000 in search of new musical inspiration ending up in Berlin, Germany.  After years of playing in various bands and performing alone with his acoustic guitar in the smaller cafés and clubs of the city, he decided in 2009 to take a different approach and awaken some aspects of his musical personality that had been dormant for years.  The result is "Paul E. Phonics" - a singer/songwriter for the 21st century - essentially a one man band with Paul on keyboards and vocals accompanied by his laptop.

Owen Temple on the commercial free Pluto Radio stream ..

OWEN TEMPLE
DOLLARS AND DIMES
North America is many different places. Of course, there are different states and different provinces, but that’s not really where the big differences happen. The really fundamental distinctions happen between the different regions.

One great thing about my job is I get to travel. Mostly on the highways, and frequently from one end of the country to the other. When I get to see how the different regions fit together, how they unroll from end to end, that’s the most interesting travel. Occasionally, if the booking agent is sadistic enough (or optimistic enough?), I get to see three or four different regions in three or four days.
I’ve been traveling, playing gigs, and making records for twelve years. The place where this started for me was Austin, playing at a dark wooden barroom downtown called O Henry’s Back Forty (now the site of the downtown Hilton). I’ve worked different jobs, lived in Houston, Dallas, New York, and Madison, Wisconsin, and made good friends in all those places.
A fellow traveler and songwriter, Brian Rung,  (per Mr. Temple's website.. http://www.myspace.com/owentemple)

Pas of Era on Pluto Radio .

Like all music you and I have ever enjoyed, Pass of Era seeks to move you from this world into the visceral realm of human emotion - a place where you can fully immerse yourself in a journey that builds it's own reality as time moves forward. That feeling of discovery and passion is why we are here - to write - to perform - to listen - to share. This is the world built by three young musicians from Edmonton, Alberta. This is the story of Pass of Era.
The group is currently nearing the release of their debut EP titled "The Scripted Dream" (slated for a January, 2011 release) whilst beginning work on their first full length concept album and preparing to hit the scene and bring their story to the stage. (per the band's webpage)
