BILLY CONNALLY - The Hand That Rocks The Guitar!

For three decades, his axe has been in hand, sharpening a fine edge to his musical skills. Billy Connally has created his own blend of hard guitar rock, neo-grunge, and post modern rock. He describes his music as “Heavy Grooving Atmospheric Guitar Rock” and has been recognized as a cross between Joe Satriani and Alice in Chains. For the casual listener and musical connoisseur alike, listening to Billy's debut CD release, “The Silent Canvas,” is anything but silent. Indeed, it is an audio tapestry for the listener who can appreciate a sophisticated venture into hard rock impressionism. (as compiled on the bands website)

LEE NEGIN is an accomplished musician, songwriter, producer.  Mr. Negin also guest hosts for us here at the station and we are thankful for his continued support - Lee Negin has a compelling, unique musical vibe, and, certainly, is deserving to be heard.

You can purchase the music of LEE NEGIN at link listed below.  Keep in mind the official release date of Wu Wei is the 26th of September...
http://leenegin.com/

"LEE NEGIN brilliantly defines a musical realm that is his alone.  He effortlessly forges through the uncharted waters of musical zen and cleverly orchestrates sound into a vibrant, visceral experience.  Mr. Negin is a savvy magician welding a maestro's baton, a mystical boatsman guiding the listener on an epic adventure through undiscovered sonic terrain.   His latest work, Wu Wei, is a quixotical journey where East meets West in a whimsical - yet relevent - spectrum of sound.  We are grateful to play the music of LEE NEGIN on our commercial free radio stream at Pluto Radio.

PAUL E PHONICS' new single The Summer (That Never Was)

Hi Lee,

hope you're doing well. I just want to let you know that I'm releasing a new single this week. It's called "The Summer (That Never Was)" and it was inspired by the miserable weather that hit most of Europe this year. It's also got a "real" video and the song will be available as a free download from www.paul-e-phonics.com as of Thursday Sept. 8, 2011.

The song is attached and you can check out the label page to watch the video and get more info www.5thestatemusic.com/paul-e-phonics.html

As usual, I am the sole rights holder and you have my permission to use the song and video on Pluto Radio in any way you see fit. I'd be very grateful if you could post a little blurb about it on the Pluto Radio homepage.

Thanks.

Greetings from Berlin!P

PAUL E. PHONICS is both a guest host and a featured artist on the commercial Pluto Radio stream.  His music is adventurous, melodic, and barbed.  Pluto Radio is dedicated to the promotion of unique talent from across the planet, and, yes, Paul E. Phonics deserves to be heard!

ELVIS DELUXE - Stoner Rock / Psychedelic / Garage

In 2002 four long-time friends who had been involved in different bands (mostly HC/post HC/rock stuff like Ahimsa, Coalition, Afraid of That Day) started to jam together playing what they had a great affection for their entire lives: ‘70s-influenced stoner rock.

In 2003 they recorded a demo which turned out to be pretty popular among the slowly growing breed of their fans. Soon they became one of the most active Warsaw bands, crossing all the genres and being present at different types of shows from punk rock to rock’n’roll to hardcore and rocking the nights out like crazy. Every once in a while they hit the road to gig Poland, Lithuania, Germany, ending up in some Czech clubs, making a nice soundtrack to bar fights there. Easy going dudes took it easy. It took them a while to record their very first full length, but when they did, it turned out to be really worth waiting for. The record was called “Lazy” (2007) and well... it really was. The title illustrated Elvis’ attitude towards the so-called reality and their music. (as compiled on the bands website)

ZZG - Classic Rock with a Progressive Edge

ZZG was formed by guitarist and singer Daniel Roberts(Chuffs) along with bassist Keith Matthews. “Our desire was to create rock music in the vein of late 60’s and early 70’s classic rock and we intended for anyone who heard our music to leave with guitar hooks firmly embedded in their mind hours later." Our philosophy has remained unchanged, though our music has evolved to include a progressive rock element. (as compiled on the bands website)

ZZG's Current lineup:

Dan Roberts(Guitars)
Craig Birnie (Drums)
Hugh Blemings(Keys)
Keith Matthews (Bass)

WHISPERS IN THE SHADOW - Rock / Gothic / Wave

Whispers in the Shadow is a Gothic Rock Band from Austria, formed in 1996. The bandname is inspired by the story The Whisperer in Darkness by H.P.Lovecraft. The lyrics deal mainly with occult and mystic concepts.

Since 1999 Whispers in the Shadow were constantly touring throughout Europe. They also performed at numeros festivals such as Mera Luna, Wave Gotik Treffen, Summer Darkness amongst many others. WITS have never been afraid of breaking boarders and exploring new sounds and new ways of song writing as well as improvising on stage. More than once they played stunning epic versions of songs hiting the 15min mark.

In 2008 they released their 5th studio album INTO THE ARMS OF CHAOS which was the first one of a 4 album concept based on the 4 alchemistic phases of transformation.

This album was produced by John A. Rivers, also known for his work with artists such as Dead can Dance, Clan of Xymox or Love & Rockets.  In early 2010 they released the 2nd part of this epic conceptual work: THE ETERNAL ARCANE. (as compiled on the bands website)
